The staff of Mclean County Eye Center |
 |
|
The concept of McLean County Eye Center (MCEC) began on April
1, 1980, with a small office of only 800 square feet of space and
two full time staff. After four and a half years, the practice grew
to the extent that additional space and staff were needed to handle
the growing patient influx.
A new office was opened at the corner of College and Veterans Parkway
in November of 1984. Staffing was doubled and office size was tripled.
The office continued to grow and staffing continued to expand. It
was apparent that even more space would be needed to allow for continued
growth.
In 1995, the adjoining office space was purchased and the whole 4,000
square feet of combined offices were completely renovated. This resulted
in a state-of-the-art facility ready to handle the added staff and
patient flow.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Huettemann joined the practice during the summer of
1997. Dr. David K. Landess joined the practice in March of 2000. Dr.
Landess and Dr. Huettemann went into partnership in March of 2000
and purchased the practice.
Always trying to exceed expectation, McLean County Eye Center
will continue to go to great lengths to provide the best service possible.
Although personal comprehensive care is always emphasized, upgrades
in digital retinal imaging and diagnostic glaucoma services have allowed
us to provide cutting-edge medical and vision services. It is this
technology coupled with advances in staff certification and training
that has poised our office at the very leading edge of Eyecare within
our community.
