Contact Lenses
Our Doctors and NCLE certified technicians specialize in the professional fitting and dispensing of contact lenses. We offer these types of contacts:
- Rigid Gas-Permeable (RGP)
- Soft Contacts
- Disposable Lenses (daily wear, tinted, astigmatism, or extended wear)
Our contacts are dispensed only after a thorough diagnostic evaluation determines that contact lenses are recommended. With over 1000 lenses available on the premises, most hard-to-fit patients can be served.
To learn more about contacts, please visit the contact lenses section of our vision library.
Our Technology
High Definition Ocular Coherence Tomography (HD-OCT)
At over 27,000 A-scans per second, this revolutionary new technology provides an optical biopsy that allows
our doctors to visualize subtle retinal disease. Early disease processes would commonly be missed without
utilizing OCT technology. Among other things, HD-OCT assessment is critical for timely care with diabetic
eye disease, glaucoma and wet macular degeneration.
Humphrey Visual Field
Often considered the industry gold standard, the Humphrey Visual Field is utilized for any disease of the
optic nerve or visual pathway. Our doctors utilize the Humphrey visual field with new updated software for
Glaucoma Progression Analysis (GPA). This upgrade allows our doctors to critically analyze minute changes
that would be undetected using older software.
Topcon Digital Retinal Imaging
Our doctors recommend retinal images for each eye health examination. These images are networked to an exam
room and analyzed on a 37" HD-TV. The retinal images will provide a baseline for future evaluations and be
used as a discussion platform for current disease states. Many subtle problems can be often underemphasized
without this technology.
Marco Epic 5100 Refracting Systems
For the most accurate vision assessment, our refractionists utilize the EPIC 5100 refracting system. The EPIC
5100 refracting system utilizes state of the art wave-front (WF) technology to precisely determine a patient's
glasses prescription. Wave front technology also allows the doctors to topographically assess the surface of
the cornea for defects that could distort vision.
Compulink Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Often considered the flagship EMR software for the eye care industry, Compulink is utilized by our office to
provide an efficient, detailed examination. Among other services, Compulink allows our patients to fill out
their medical history, including medications, at home and have it automatically flood to their own electronic
file. This information is reviewed by the doctor's assistants and finalized for the doctor to review. This
allows a streamlined efficient work up process, which provides less wait time in the office.
